Abstract : The researcher, in this study, tackled the material medium in fine arts namely the multimedia of modern technology such as computerized tools, printers or projectors including transparent acrylic (Plexiglas), raisin and other materials and the role of such multimedia in contemporary art, and as a result it become known as the Multimedia Arts. As to traditional arts such as ceramics, it was imperative that such arts keep abreast with latest development in technology specifically multimedia and also in the same time maintain traditional aspects of ceramics and by that we can create masterpieces by combining traditions and technology. Through observations, the researcher realized the scarcity of 3-deminsional ceramic artworks in Jeddah city, e.g. at parks, public squares and open spaces; therefore, the researcher chosen appropriate artworks that suits such open spaces. Based on this concept for achieving the research objective that serves ceramics artworks, the researcher aims to present such ceramic artworks in such a modern form at open spaces to enable larger number of the public to see and enjoy such ceramic artworks. Hypothesis The researcher utilizes multimedia technology in ceramics in such a way that leads to modernize such artworks at open spaces. Important Results 1. The utilization of modern multimedia technology leads to the production of new and contemporary ceramic artworks. 2. Using multimedia for ceramic forms designed for presentation to the public at open spaces leads to the creation of modern ceramic artworks.
