Abstract
:
This study tackles the reality of job track planning practice in public organizations in Tabouk. The study aims at identifying knowledge of the importance of job track planning as well as identifying application potential and the obstacles. The study adopted the analytical descriptive method. The researcher developed a questionnaire. 291 questionnaires were analyzed using statistical analytical descriptive methods in order to achieve the study objectives. The study results included that Tabouk Education Management has an intermediate awareness level about the importance of job track planning but the necessary potentials are not available to support job track planning application process. The study specified the most significant obstacles against applying job track planning as restricting information from employees in educational managements as such information is not available except for specific management levels. In addition, lack of training programs necessary for improving employees performance as well as low harmony between specialization and job. The study recommended spreading job track planning culture besides increasing mutual trust between management and employees and contributing effectively in developing personnel affairs regulations in transportation, promotion, motivation, and training with regard to available job opportunities in all managements. The study also recommended trying to meet the desires of subordinates majority when possible which demands supplying them with available programs. More interest should be presented by education management in association with job track planning and not delaying the application of such process. The most important recommendations: enhancing job track planning culture of education management through lectures, symposiums, and workshops; supplying the necessary technical potential and staff qualified to plan job tracks as well as providing employees with advanced training programs in the field of job track planning and a guiding manual explaining job promotion opportunities within different job tracks.
