Abstract
:
Recent years have seen the rise of new technology which seems a panacea for all the problems of impedance measurements technique especially in high frequency. In this thesis some of the selected multi-port networks are considered. Their selections are base on their ability to be converted into six port networks easily. With the proper terminations these selected six-port networks can be easily converted to six-port reflectometers. These reflectometers are likely to replace the most expensive network analyzer equipment due to being less expensive and more compact. Also, it can be used as comparison phases operate in mono pulse radar for control of both the elevation and azimuth. Six-port network can also be used with the network end of the occasion as six port reflectometer and Unified Energy / divider. Many of multiple specific ports networks will be selected and be analyzed, design, and simulation through the use of advanced design system. The theoretical analysis of some these networks will be developed and then will be compared with the technique flow chart signal. Are obtained display the appropriate bandwidth relative simple addition of external circuits. In this thesis we studied and simulated of several type some selection of multi-port microstrip network for specific application using simulation software. Selected circuits were designed and optimized to produce different microstrip devices that suit various applications. Modified networks were introduced by increasing width, length and adding various of ship. The devices that were designed and optimized included several type of multi-port networks have been investigate in order to selected the proper and the best performance. The selected multi-port networks have been modified with proper termination to be converted into six port reflecometer. These selected of multi-port networks have divided into several types. All these proper multi-port networks have been analyzed, simulated, fabricated and maybe measure.
