The study aimed to describe and identify the principal impact of organizational culture dominant in Jeddah Islamic Port to instill a sense of belonging among the staff, administrators, the middle and lower echelons. By identifying the degree of strength of the organizational culture at the port among the staff, administrators, the middle and lower echelons. Is there an effect attributable to the changes related to (age, qualification and years of experience) of belonging? The problem of the study summarized in the main question by asking: What is the impact of organizational culture on organizational belonging among the administrative staff members in Jeddah Islamic Port? Questionnaires and personal interviews were conducted as tools for data collections.
The final result of the questionnaires was as follows: (58) items were distributed (218) questionnaire was submitted for administrative staffs of Jeddah Islamic Port. The number of questionnaires answered and recovered was (150). Then the answers were presented to a number of arbitrators and take their comments and then adopt it as a key tool for this study. And in order to achieve the objectives of the study a descriptive and analytical approach and the use of statistical programs of social Sciences packs (spss) methods were used to analyze the questionnaire data also alpha Crow where it achieved a very high percent rate (99.0%) for the period covering the questionnaire of resolution, which refers to the possibility of trust in the results that have been accessed. The most important findings of the study is: That organizational culture has a positive and strong impact on instilling a sense of belonging among the administrative staff of Jeddah Islamic Port. The feeling of belonging is High and powerful with the administrative staffs of Jeddah Islamic Port, have a positive effect between the variable age and in instilling a sense of belonging. The study included main recommendations including the focus to the values of (environmental management, mission management, and relationship management) will have a positive and strong impact to instill a sense of belonging among the staff. To further studies on the affiliation to the work environment and to distinguish between loyalty and belonging, and the interest to design buildings and providing good places for communication among employees, Key Words: Organizational Culture, Belonging, Loyalty. |
