Abstract
:
The study aimed to explore the influence of the artistic factors on the design thought of the designer Paul Poiret, as well as analysis and development of artistic features in the modern work of Paul Poiret, and the creation, formulations of the style of design on the dress form through the inspiration of the design thought of the designer Paul Poiret for oriental women. The study utilized the analytical descriptive methodology to study and analyze the influence of the artistic factors on the design thought of the designer Paul Poiret with the description and analysis of the features and characteristics of his artistic works that reflect his creativity and uniqueness, in addition to the applied study by drawing inspiration from the design thought of designer Paul Poiret to enrich the design on the dress form. The research tools consisted of two questionnaires to identify the opinions of the sample of the specialists from the members of the faculty of the specialized technical colleges totaling (10) members, and a group of women aged of (25: 35) years old totaling (36) women, regarding the proposed designs totaling (10) designs inspired by the design thought of the designer Paul Poiret. The results of the study showed statistically significant differences between the design axes inspired by the design thought of the designer Paul Poiret according to the opinions of the specialists. It was found that the third axis "achievement of the functional aspect" represents the best axes in light of the opinions of the specialists, followed by the second axis "achievement of the aesthetic aspect”, followed by the first axis “the characteristics of the design thought of Paul Poiret”. The results of the study showed statistically significant differences between the design axes inspired by the design thought of the designer Paul Poiret according to the opinions of women, where it was found that the first axis, "achievement of the aesthetic aspect" represents the best axes in light of the opinions of the women consumers, followed by the second axis” achievement of the functional aspect". The results also confirmed that there is a correlation between the order of specialists and the order of women consumers for designs inspired by the design thought of designer Paul Poiret and that the correlation between the order of each of the specialists and women consumers, in light of the assessment axes for each of them, was (R = 0.360) which is statically significant at (0.05.It is a proportional positive relation, meaning that there is a consensus between the assessment in terms of the scientific and practical aspects. The study recommended the following: the necessity of the introduction of a novice course to teach the design on the mannequins and to be inspired by both the designs of the ancient and modern arts because of their involvement of plastic and color values, which give richness and originality to the designs and shedding light on more sources of artistic visions in the field of women's fashion design and design on the mannequins.
