Abstract
:
This study aimed to determine the variation in the application of methods of work of the staff in the departments of safety in civil defense and find out the causes of this discrepancy. The researcher used the descriptive and analytical approach to the study, and the size of the study sample (200) of officers and individuals, Questionnaire was used to collect the necessary data for the study, analysis and resorted to statistical methods needed by descriptive statistics such as frequencies and percentages, averages and computational arithmetic average, and computational arithmetic mean and standard deviation. Of the most important results of this study that there is variation in the methods of work of the staff in the civil defense, and that non-inclusion in the safety regulations and the lack of clarity and obsolescence led to a shift towards diligence Profile in the implementation of the requirements and rules of safety in the facilities, and lack of full understanding of the regulations, pay to a variation in the methods work when applied in the establishments, and that there is a decline in the training programs so as not to keep pace with the needs of staff in the field of safety, and that the variation in the methods of work due to two main reasons: first is related to safety regulations and the reason the other weakness in the training. Of the most important recommendations of the study: Work on the study of modernization and development of safety regulations in line with the pace of progress and development of civilization and urbanization, economic, commercial and industrial in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and to review the selection of staff in the specialty of safety and the limiting of this specialization on the highly qualified scientific manner so that they can understand and know the rules and regulations and the ability to work out and rehabilitation of adequate staff in the specialty of safety before work practice to ensure understanding of the work and safety regulations, and the preparation of training programs according to the need for training and this requires to study the needs of employees in safety by a consultative body, both from within the civil Defense or any other scientific advisory provides advice needed to address the shortcomings and the low level of training to achieve excellence in the performance of work, preparation of studies necessary to regulate the working methods of the sections of the safety of access to evidence a clear unified and written to implement the work, and the use of technology in completing the licensing of safety facilities, and take advantage of the technology to take full advantage to achieve the quality of the work safety and the development of staff performance.
