Abstract
:
The research aims to measure the relative efficiency of female secondary schools, using Data Envelopment Analysis meeting the needs of educational decision makers for the sake of the ideal investment of available resources. improving the level of efficiency in the use of public resources in education, this research provided clarification of the theoretical analysis of the Data Envelopment analysis as well as practical application of the method to take advantage of data from 78 schools from female secondary schools in Jeddah. The degree of efficiency was estimated for every school. The study found that 13% of schools involved in the assessment are relatively efficient in the sense that no recourses are stagnant or surplus output and that 87% of schools are incompetent it has been found to have stagnant resources which have not been extracted for the production of much of the current output which was also specify the amount and sources of inefficiency for the inefficient schools in addition to the school references. The study concluded that several recommendation urging them to take Data Envelopment Analysis the recognition and interest in it into account especially by the relevant decision- making and expansion in the teaching of operations for the graduate programs to enable graduates to use it effectively in making the right decision in the field of work in addition to the work of similar studies to measure the relative efficiency of female schools but for consecutive years with the study of differences between the efficiency ratios for schools through the years and know the causes and sources and working to solve it.
