The study aimed to find the relationship between the educational leader practices and the quality of early childhood environment in public kindergartens in Jeddah City. The descriptive, correlational approach is followed by applying the Program Administration Scale (PAS), which aims to assess the quality of leadership and management practices in early childhood institutions. In addition to the Quality Evaluation Rating Scale in Kindergarten, which aims to assess quality of the environment of early childhood institutions. The study sample is determined after classifying public kindergartens into two levels of quality (acceptable - excellent), Then selecting two kindergartens from each level by intentional method. The sample included (4) kindergartens that included (4) educational leaders, (4) teachers and (4) Activity areas. The results indicated positive correlation between the educational leader’s practices and the quality of the early childhood environment. The overall average score for the educational leadership practice was (2.55) with a (poor) grade. In addition, the highest mean was (5.19) in the interior environment sub-scale in the Quality Evaluation Rating Scale in Kindergarten, American scale ECERS-R, while the highest mean was (3.66) in the mathematical concepts sub-scale in the Quality Evaluation Rating Scale in Kindergarten, British scale ECERS-E, besides the highest mean was (3.87) in the social interaction sub-scale in the Quality Evaluation Rating Scale in Kindergarten, Saudi scale ECERS-SA. Finally, the study provided many recommendations, the most important of which are the establishment of accredited and specialized training centers in the field of educational leadership in early childhood. As well as applying international standards for environmental quality when designing and building new kindergartens.
